Earlier today, Friday, February 28th, 2025, I joined other Akwa Ibom stakeholders, headed by Governor Umo Eno, for a historic courtesy visit to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, at the Presidential Villa, Aso Rock.
This nonpartisan conference, which comprised political, traditional, and community leaders from all parties, underlined our togetherness and common goal for the development of Akwa Ibom State.
The Akwa Ibom delegation included Senate President Godswill Akpabio, former Governor Udom Emmanuel, Deputy Governor Senator Akon Eyakenyi, several National Assembly members, and the Speaker of the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, among others.
The gathering covered Akwa Ibom state and national issues.
